Sourdough Discard Waffles
Makes 4 large waffles, 10 small waffles | Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 3-4 minutes per waffle
INGREDIENTS
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons sugar or honey
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
½ cup whole milk
8 ounces sourdough discard
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix eggs, milk and sourdough starter discard in a medium sized mixing bowl.
Add the dry ingredients, vanilla and melted butter and mix well until combined, batter should be thick. You can add a little milk or flour until you reach your desired consistency.
Pour about ¼ cup into a small waffle maker, cook and enjoy!
